It’s summer, and there is nothing I love more right now that hanging out on my patio (rosé in hand, probably). Last weekend, the patio hosted a super-fun graduation party on Saturday. We played Sunday volleyball. Then, post-vb we ordered Thai food and spent the next several hours just lounging around. It was perfect. The most perfect, unexpected summer Sunday.
I absolutely love hosting people at my lil beach house, and am so grateful for my expansive patio, proximity to the beach, and amazing friends who populate said patio!
Believe it or not, no photos were taken all weekend. So you just have to imagine the patio in your head.

They say: Effusive nose of strawberry/watermelon jolly rancher wrapped in blood orange and vanilla orchid. While in theory that sounds sweet, the wine is instead rich, with a juicy entry and lush mid-palate well supported on a mineral frame and a black cherry finish.
Sourced from an iconic producer in Calistoga, Lot 557 2016 Napa Valley Rosé is produced from all estate fruit. The wine itself is made via the saignée method, which involves letting the natural weight of the grapes force out free-run juice.
The Cabernet Sauvignon makes for a deeper and richer red hue, more akin to “Rosado” than the pale salmon pink of Provence rosé. This is a small-Lot, first-class terrific value (vs the $20+ source winery retail) and an absolutely perfect warm weather refresher.
